Well the last night I was routing about in my box of bits and bobs associated with gardening stuff, looking for something else as it happens and at the bottom of my old seed tin, (surely everyone has one – a tin that you start keeping seeds in till the right part of the season comes for planting, but it eventually gets over run with bits of paper, orders and useful information that you want to keep) I found these wonders. A trip down memory lane, to a time when you had to look up a STD code to make a call to a telephone in Frome, to a time before commercially available mobile phones and personal computers, was in order. Does anyone remember when you had a party line to a telephone, you had to write an order out and post it with a cheque or postal order for any goods that you wanted and the only reference material you could generally get hold of, was in a library? I even found some of the growing instructions, made in a fold out pamphlet fashion, from Marstons Exotics as well, goodness knows why I saved them. Perhaps as reference material for future generations. Cheers Steve

I think you may have to explain "Library" to some Steve
