My first Brugmansia flower of the season is out, with more on the way. The recent weather hasn't helped its cause much, the plant being damaged by wind and the attentions of some unknown pest. However the flower has measured in at 18" plus, no perfume as yet, maybe warmer weather will help. Cheers Steve

Why thank you kind sirs. The single flower has now started to get its mature colour and been joined by another, the fragrance has arrived and is superb, if the weather was warm and still it would be very heady indeed. Cheers Steve

This year the flowers have taken to coming out in the coolest, wettest and windiest weather we have had for a while, so the heady scent will be borne away on the wind rather than hanging in the air and the wind will wreck the flowers in no time, so I am enjoying them while I can. They are 350 - 450 in length. Cheers Steve
