They do fine work, better than i could achieve with a jigsaw.
What were the leaves that they fancied Fred?

Normally they go for Daphne leaves but our large old plant gave up the ghost this year, they are short lived. This plant is an unknown we've let grow hoping that it'll eventually give us a clue to its identity. It is next to a Daphne seedling though which has only had one cut taken from a leaf, so far.

Leaf cutting appears to have ceased for the year. The plant now gets a respite.
