One of the regenerating heads. They were fine after The Beast From The East but the return got them as with a few other plants.

Regrowth has been good. Now we want some flowers. A slightly different view/ lighting on a separate pot.

Still recovering from last years "Return of the Beast from the East" and enjoying an early treat of a Lily Beetle. It caught the fly itself.

First pot is under Flo lights in a spare room ,min temp around 10c on a ten hour lights on cycle and they've started to flower for some reason this year this next pot is on a SW facing window and have also started to flower but the plants look very anemic and flower stalks look weak and thin ,surprised they're flowering

Both pots of plants on the windowsill and under lights have bloomed ,flowers on the plants under lights are larger and the stalks have split so two blooms open at once on each plant, dunno why as plants on the windowsill have the normal to me single stalk so don't know if it's the lights or a trait of the seed grown plants under lights as it's the first time they've flowered that I can remember

Congrats Corky, those flowers are very impressive.
You've shown your plants with flower stalks in past posts here, did those flower buds not ' open?
Great to see that you have the touch now.

Yeah I've flowered them before ,the pot in that pic are seed grown from my own plants seed so extra good to see them flower for the first time . Flowering has been hit and miss for me with D.cuneifolia, some years they've flowered and some nothing, they are an easy species for me with the conditions I can offer without too much effort

Something else a bit different about the split flower stalks plants this is the five petal flower that I'm used to seeing and these seven petal flowers are on the split stalk plants
