I had some Erythronium in pots for a few years and put them out into the garden when I built the Darlingtonia house two years ago. They're now coming into their own. here's a short selection. Top - White Beauty Middle - Pagoda Bottom - Joanna Then of course there's the Trillium cuneatum, here shown after a shower. Big well marked leaves on this one. It's been in situ a couple of years too. I did plant some tubers of Trillium luteum last autumn but unfortunately they're a no show

Still in a pot for protection, Trillium recurvatum. It now has three heads and a miniature version of T. cuneatum (above)

This plant was supposed to be Trillium luteum which it obviously isn't. It's not T. recurvatum because the flowers are nodding and I think the petals aren't pointed enough to be T. erectum so I'm going to plump for T. sulcatumI was considering increasing my stock of Trillium but then I saw how much they're going for these days. Eeeeeeek!
