Whilst our garden is thankfully free of arion slugs, we do have an abundance of leopard slugs! Seen a few shapes, sizes and species, but last night I saw this beast. Safe to say it's Limax maximus!

That is a fine looking beast, there are a fair few empty snail shells about in such a small area too.

I never had any bother from the Limax. Don't think my plants ever have either. Only (small) ones I've found in the greenhouse have always been eating already dead, brown Sarracenia pitchers, so in fact are helping clean up the detritus. Snails on the other hand... grrrr.

Haha, quite a few there! Interesting that you have primarily the bright yellowy-fawn coloured species. In our garden, we have a handful of those but mainly the dark grey/brown as pictured.
