I bit the bullet this winter and left quite a few terrestrials outside. Some are already sticking their noses up and the Australian terrestrials have just accepted the situation and kept their leaves over the cold spell. Cypripedium tibeticum (light) This is furthest on of the two Cypripedium that have emerged. Cypripedium plectrochilumMy favourite Cypripedium. It seemed to have a set back last year but it's certainly sending up a few noses this.

Pterostylis curta. Still sending up flowers. I had to remove three broken ones ( probable cat damage). Still sending up fresh flowers. The other two pots of Australians are still i leaf but have finished flowering. Calanthe hybrid This remained in the greenhouse overwinter but I get the impression it's a bit earlier than usual. It's an excuse for another piccy anyway.
