I was on holiday recently with family members generally less than half my age. I was astounded to be introduced to macro and wide angle 'strap on ' lenses to clip to your phone camera. Well I ordered a pair for less than £13.00 and in keeping with modern demands they were dutifully delivered next day a.m. delivery. I dashed out and took these with the macro, not up to SLR standards but I think you will agree not bad for a clip on phone lens. Unfortunately they don't improve the artistic temperament of the owner.

Well I am very slowly getting to grips with the technology of a mobile phone camera and a clip on lens, something I've never really done before thinking that the pictures from a phone would be passable at best. However now I have learnt a little, I am astounded at the quality of the pictures, I'm sure in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing the results would be even better. Possibly a very prudent £13.00 investment and I haven't even tried the wide angle lens yet. It could be very handy for impromptu field work when out walking or similar. This is the lens I bought www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Mactrem-Wide-Macro-Smartphones/dp/B06XKY8X17/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1498914923&sr=8-13&keywords=Clip+on+camera+lensCheers Steve Drosera capensis 'alba'

This is a 'bog standard' D. capensis, inflorescence overlapping a Sarracenia operculum, nice colours.

I agree Fred, and having looked at the flower again it is more of the traditional pinky colour. Not sure what has happened I didnt apply any effects.

This is a D. capensis alba, growing in one of the bogs, it has a pinkish tinge to the tentacles but a white flower.
