We just managed to catch the tail end of the ant exodus today. The queens were climbing anything that was handy, brush shanks, greenhouses, house walls, humans. I got a couple of photos. Queens, much larger than the workers protecting them. These I believe are the males, they're much smaller than the queens. There's a worker and at about 1 o'clock in the photo for comparison.
