Are they late this year? Just been looking through the thread and they seem late , do they have a short summer growth season?

Hi Corky, they may be late or maybe even confused.
They are used to being under fluorescent tubes, but for this summer here at least, they are in a sunny room, receiving seasonal light.
Their growth period is not too long, maybe just four months or so, give or take.
Once they've been dormant for a few months, they can be revived again by adding water to their media.

Back under lights again, and back on track to getting their colours back. And an emerging flower bonus, doesn't hurt. dvg

Great looking plant. Flowers are always easy on the eyes.

The blush is back in her cheeks again; something about being in the bright lights makes her shine. dvg

A fresh flower from a different one of these clones; so fresh in fact, that the petal dents from its unfurling haven't been fully pounded out yet. dvg

After a couple of hours time, dents now pounded out and rounded out like a new racing fender. Even came with a racing stripe. dvg

Took a bit of a shine to this clone today, with her leaves looking closer to those of her moranensis mother. dvg

That last flower stretched out to just a notch over 1-1/4" across and has more of the moranensis mother influence, although the mother's flowers were much smaller. And another clone's flower just opened, but not fully nor fully stretched out either. dvg

This is what remains of the flower posted here on October 3rd. It was fertilized with pollen from heterophylla, and by all appearances is looking like it wants to bear some seed, but will have to wait and see if anything comes from that attempt. dvg

Was able to salvage one sprouted seed from the seed pod above, so i know that that clone's flower is fertile. One of these clones is still humming along, most of the others are now retreating into dormant bulb sanctuary. dvg
