That poor flower is all you get from D. bosseranum apart from the myriad of seed that they produce

Guess ya don't need a fancy flower to be a good breeder. What is it with the odd flower here and there, that they don't quite open up properly? Would that be the result of a faulty clone, or do those flowers really need loads of heat to truly show their stuff? dvg

That IS the flower showing off its stuff. Besides, it's quite happy to produce seed all on its own.

The pot of mixed colour Delosperma has certainly been a plus this year. It looks good when the sun is out and has the bonus of attracting many Hoverfies.

Those are spectacular flowers Fred. What they might lack in numbers/quantity, they certainly make up for with their brightness/quality. dvg
