Yesterday, i noticed two flower stalks on this asplundii clump, but a certain kitty chomped that number down to just one. dvg

Oooooh! That's Cat as trophic 🥳🎈 Well, it wasn't exactly the cat's meow. But i did start him some wheat berries yesterday...he does love his greens. dvg

The recent remaining asplundii flower stalk from the last plant update has stalled and aborted its flowering mission. The shock of daytime outdoor heat exposure, after being removed from its indoor confines of cosy comfort under a humidity dome, may have had some hand in it. Nonetheless, it has since pushed out two more flowerstalks, since being placed outdoors about six weeks ago. Try as i might, i was unable to capture both flower stalks in focus in the same frame. Hopefully, these will be hardened off enough to flower outdoors now. Growing this bladderwort with a west facing exposure, in very dappled sunlight, so it never gets the full brunt of the summer's sun. dvg

Might be seeing a lot more of these in a month or two. Multiple flower stalks have just recently sprung up in this pot, so looking forward to seeing what results come from all of them. (11 new stalks, still yet to flower, at last count. ). dvg

With the recent flurry of flower spikes popping up and out of the mossy asplundii pot here, i've noticed a lot of those stalks have four and five flowerbuds apiece on them. The most i had seen before was three flowers per stalk. dvg

One of the flowerbuds is showing signs of progress, with more in line to follow suit. dvg

Some of these asplundii flowers are beginning to unfurl, are in different stages of opening, or have already opened now. dvg

This pot of asplundii certainly isn't stingy with its flowers. dvg
