I had a seat in the fernery this morning just after trimming the hedge and the Dryopteris erythrosora was looking quite good with it's bronzed fronds Then I just couldn't resist attempting a decent shot of the spreading frond tip. Yes, that's a fern

I got one of these from the garden centre, cracking fern ,think mine is cv 'brilliance' and meant to be more colourful than the standard,I just liked the look of it and yeah the unfurling fronds are very

Dryopteris erythrosora was looking quite good with it's bronzed fronds Yes, that's a fern Beautiful fronds. It's remarkable how similar in appearance the spreading frond tips are to ripening raspberries. dvg
