Back in December my desktop stopped accepting downloads. Acrobat Reader wouldn't operate on its own, only through the browser. Zoom only worked through the browser too. My Update History files quickly started filling up with failed download attempts as the system constantly tried and retried to update automatically. Occasionally the odd one seemed to be installed. I was keeping Windows Security updated through the app and not via Windows Updates, as they were also failing. On 21-06 there was a feature update which miraculously installed and now everything works as it should. Update history has lost any reference to any failed updates and all is hunky dory. Acrobat Reader and Zoom have a new lease of life. While all this mayhem occurred on the desktop, my laptop had no problems. Just who/what dropped the ball? Anyone else had problems which were suddenly fixed this week? Roll on Windows 11
