A teeny tiny wee yen. I believe it's Syritta pipiens a common, widespread hoverfly. Those thighs on the back legs help ID  |

This one was resting on a sunflower leaf so I asked her to pose.  As her fee I lifted her onto a small sunflower. She appeared very grateful and proceeded to vigorously feed from every point available. She's a small one, approximately 12mm ( ½"} |
