Yes indeedy, my garden fills up with hundreds in the spring, and although they encourage blackfly and cabbage white caterpillars the predators normally balance them out evntually. They cover a multitude of sins in my garden and as Fred intimates they are pretty, and the flowers, seeds, and leaves are edible and look good in arty farty salads. Cheers Steve
