Corky, I don't really grow them anymore. There's only a couple of small neglected ones hanging around just surviving
Back in the day they got the regular greenhouse treatment, in trays alongside Cephalotus and Drosera regia but I sat them on upside down saucers so they didn't get wet feet all the time, plus top watering into the pitchers. In winter they were brought into the utility room in a large propagator set down to a minimum around 10C. They got some natural light ( not a lot) and I supplemented it with a CFl bulb on timer. They seemed to do fine with that treatment
With the two I have now I take them down into the cellar with the other tender plants ( Disa mainly) under LED growlights. They're not too happy with that but it's either that or they freeze their pitchers off in the greenhouses. Needless to say, neglected Heliamphora don't flower.
Then I would submit that you are declaring a problem when there is none The plant is perfectly happy in so much that it is flowering and continuing in normal growth after that flowering. Bract pitchers on the inflorescence is an added interest.
