Gotta love the fresh green of newly unfurled fronds. Oh! and of course the contrast of the vibrant yellow of the Taraxacum, its a proper dandy. Cheers Steve

Are these native ferns that can survive absolute zero winters?

Steve, dandy indeed! A golden maned regal lion. Corky, these are hardy ferns that come up year after year here, but not likely hardy all the way down to absolute zero, although i'm sure -40°c/F would probably seem like it was that cold. dvg
