We're lucky enough to have several grass snakes living in our compost heap, and using the pond as their local pool.

Excellent quality videos,great location for them with the compost heap and pool,you seen any baby ones I suppose a bit of egg laying would be going on in that compost

Hannah was telling me yesterday that that female at the pond is a 6 footer or almost Chris.

Wow, how very cool, my interactions with these wonderful creatures is very limited, to have that many and being able to observe them is marvelous.

Couldn't agree more,must be great watching them and sounds like the female is a cracking size the colours are really something after they shed their skin

Hannah was telling me yesterday that that female at the pond is a 6 footer or almost Chris. Seen at least one wee noodle about a foot long. I’m expecting little ones to start emerging at the end of the summer.

Wow, how very cool, my interactions with these wonderful creatures is very limited, to have that many and being able to observe them is marvelous. It’s like having a second tv just outside the lounge window. The heap is less than a metre from the window.
