On our return from up North last Sunday we had to water immediately to refill the trays and lagoons. The RO filter was connected and has been running ever since. We've had rain as well but I'm still nowhere near the water storage I started with on Sunday. I think I'm still about 250 litres or so short due to having to water for five days in a row which was taking all the RO filter could produce.
The middle greenhouse recorded 39C under the staging whilst the two others recorded 54C at eaves height.
Herc has had a few pitchers singed on the top edges ( Middle greenhouse, against the glass on the sunny side) but no discernible damage on the rest so far.
As for the Darlingtonia, just keep them sitting in water and they don't bother about temperature. I think the Mesembs were more upset with the heat.
