Was fortunate to add a small section of U. campbelliana from the Wei Tepui locale to the collection here. (Thanks @bonfield! ) This species is known to be slow to grow, as well as being fussy about its cultivation conditions. So why bother to even grow it? The four word answer to that question is: for its red flowers. This newly arrived clump has been repotted here for just over a week now. There's not too much to see now except for a couple of leaf stolons and a few translucent bladder traps. This bladderwort is growing on "junk mosses" seated atop fir bark chips previously sprinkled with a thin layer of peat. dvg

My prized clump of campbelliana after a couple months under my care. It is kept quite wet and night time lows are just a degree or two under 15°c. This small clump has since generated seven tiny leaf stolons, two of which have a toothpick for scale reference between them. dvg

Flowering would be a definite bonus Steve.
My gravest concern was that it would perish after just a short stint here.
