E. Redwing ( or Red Wing) E. Ascot Rainbow - a group of 5 from 3" pots. They should form a nice clump pretty quickly.

E. amygdaliodes v. robbiae

Apparently it likes semi to full shade in poor dry soils so we know where that's going

There was a bee checking it out while I was taking the photos, that's another bonus.

Every year I get a crop of this native Euphorbia in my Sarracenia. It's listed as an annual but I'd say it's more like a biennial. This years seedlings are already showing and have been for some time and the single mature plant we kept from last year is in full flower and will be until October.
I confess to not recording details of how long they survive as it's usually been until I uproot and bin them.

The plant grows up to about 12" / 30 cm and the flowers (the yellow bit) are huge at 1-2 mm.

Petty spurge is a common plant of cultivated ground, such as gardens, fields and waste ground, and is sometimes considered a weed. Its unusual flowers appear between April and October and, when ripe, its seeds are dispersed in an explosive way. These seeds are very persistent and ones as old as 50, or even 100, years have reportedly germinated.

How to identify

The greeny-yellow flowers of Petty spurge have no petals or sepals, but are held in cup-shaped bracts and appear in clusters; its leaves are oval and green.
