Whilst I was perusing Ebay I came across and advert for a resin Dragon for garden use.
It looked the part so I checked all the adverts for this figure and found prices varied from £7.99 to £55.
Naturally I ordered from the seller quoting £7.99 including postage.
I eagerly awaited his arrival and it was delivered quickly by Royal Mail current standards, only 2 days late.
Inside a sturdy box with shaped Polystyrene packing was my little fledgeling.
Oh dear it's not exactly what I expected.
However, after the disappointment wore off , I contemplated the situation.
Do I raise hell with the seller and give them a sarcastic review "painted by a 3 year old" or keep it and stay shtum.
A resin figure at this price is good and I can throw some paint at it.
I gave it a good scrub and spray undercoated it grey ( forgot to take photos) and it looked a treat.
Then I got to work with my acrylic inks.
He's looking a bit better.
The finish is a bit on the reflective side and I'm contemplating applying a matt varnish.
A few blemishes show up in the resin which are not as noticable in reality so I'll probably leave them.
The problem is that I enjoyed painting him up so much I ordered another so I can have a Green Dragon
