Whilst I was perusing Ebay I came across and advert for a resin Dragon for garden use. It looked the part so I checked all the adverts for this figure and found prices varied from £7.99 to £55. Naturally I ordered from the seller quoting £7.99 including postage. I eagerly awaited his arrival and it was delivered quickly by Royal Mail current standards, only 2 days late. Inside a sturdy box with shaped Polystyrene packing was my little fledgeling. Oh dear it's not exactly what I expected. However, after the disappointment wore off , I contemplated the situation. Do I raise hell with the seller and give them a sarcastic review "painted by a 3 year old" or keep it and stay shtum. A resin figure at this price is good and I can throw some paint at it. I gave it a good scrub and spray undercoated it grey ( forgot to take photos) and it looked a treat. Then I got to work with my acrylic inks. He's looking a bit better. The finish is a bit on the reflective side and I'm contemplating applying a matt varnish. A few blemishes show up in the resin which are not as noticable in reality so I'll probably leave them. The problem is that I enjoyed painting him up so much I ordered another so I can have a Green Dragon Pictures will appear here. You have been warned

No.2 arrived and it was "painted" exactly like No.1. This is it with the grey undercoat. Paint the eyes in and it would be OK outside. Now to throw a bit more paint at it
