I am really enjoying growing mexican pinguicula at the moment , they seem easy to grow and propagate. I also like the fact they have two different growth patterns ( winter succulent and carnivorous) . And to top it off beautiful flowers, and they don't take up too much space . and a pic without the photogenic hover fly

I thought I'd managed to kill all these p.cyclosecta off a few years back but this on appeared in a pot as a tiny plant ,I had a feeling it was a ping and grew it ,was less than 5mm when I spotted it . I reckon it's got to of come from a seed as to stay so tiny for a few years seems unlikely, anyway it's looking fine in bloom

Yes, that is a fine ping species with its purple tipped leaves and wonderfully full flowers.

this little ping is flowering again,seemed to go into an in-between summer and winter rosette needed to propagate this but it seems to be dividing for me ,damn decent of it I reckon

A lot can happen in a month for a ping split and a flower on each plant leaves have also gone full carnivore so all is as it should be
