First an old pic of a pot in full bloom and a bit closer next up is a pot of younger plants that have grown in a sunnier position, much more colour and leaf margins are better defined

They get a bit untidy looking after a few years and I have to re-pot. This year was one of those re-potting years so I now have them in a mixture including Vermiculite/ sand/ potting grit/granite grit with a little peat added. Normally I'd just use a high peat/ grit mix but I fancied the change. They're looking quite healthy but as they're under the bench on a shelf they're not likely to colour.

The colour isn't with the extra sun we had this summer. It started to come on when the climate became cooler and daylight hours shortened. So it's autumnal as with Cephalotus

Your esseriana clone certainly isn't shy when it comes to flowering, Corky.
Do you grow it in your unheated greenhouse where it receives seasonal cues, or is it indoors under lights?
