Fly traps don't do too badly outdoors all year, although they are slow to start and obviously don't get as large as the indoor or greenhouse plants, in late summer they come into their own. I grow some typicals for the curiosity value and for showing to the occasional child (or adult) visitor. Heres one from the bog, please excuse the eaten mess.

I think there's quite a few growers would like to think their greenhouse plants looked as healthy Steve.

Some more of the bog VFTS in the bog, these have been in situ for at least five years, so have made it through various winters without too much damage. They only really start to be at their best at this time of year outdoors, but hey I'm in no rush. Cheers Steve
