This Arisaema is impressive. A tall sturdy nicely marked stem topped with multi-divided foliage, the spath stands above this with it's erect spadix. Its range is the entire sub-Himalayan belt of Northern India to Northeast India and China. It is normally reported as up to 1.2m (4ft) but it can attain 2.1m (7ft.) ( I must remember to repot : Arisaema tortuosumNB:- I did repot and they spent the winter outdoors again but this time in a large tub used as a raised bed. They like it.
