Corky I have a mini greenhouse that I believe is similar to yours and was wondering what you do to maintain your plants and moss within that setup. I have just set mine out in a quite shady spot in order to grow extra sphagnum in and maybe other things if I can get it stable enough in there. I put some extra shade cloth in there, leave one of the zippers open, and have a couple tubs of water to maybe help keep humidity a bit higher especially during these upcoming summer months. For now the min/max temperatures have been around ~45°F - 83°F. Might you have any tips/advice for me? Do you have foggers or misters set up in there?
Hi , my propagator is left open all year and is in a sunny position , no extra humidity just natural. I got a large plastic tray and half filled it with live sphagnum and within six months it was overflowing, sphagnum was a native form I think, so maybe thats why it grows so vigorously , max temps around 80f so far but has been freezing in the winter ( solid) second season I have grown them this way and they really seem to love it
