I've acquired a few 'Mexicans' of late as a little extra interest. I have to declare I have an extra liking for the P. medusina, P. moctezumae & P. gypsicola types with the elongated leaves. We'll see how they go over the summer. This is P. medusina x gigantea which when I checked up on it the references of the cross were by Stephen Morley in 2009 and he did the cross a few years before that. I'm using a vermiculite/ sand/potting grit/granite grit with varying very small to none amounts of peat added.

This flower popped out today. It's relatively small as with the P. gigantea parent, still attractive.

Jeff, To be perfectly honest if they'll grow in my conditions there are not that many plants I don't like.
