Another of my newly acquired "Mexicans". Pinguicula gypsicola from San Luis Potosi is a heterophyllous member of the section Orcheosanthus.This is it dressed for winter. It's time it woke up as it's due to flower shortly. The carnivorous leaves should be long and narrow and up to 2.5" (6.5 cm)

That's a lovely species, I've had my eye on it for a while. Unfortunately it's difficult to find in the US (as are a lot of CPs) and I may end up importing one.

medusinae heterophylla calderoniae
may be also sp tonala but the filiform species

I'd actually never heard of Pinguicula calderoniae before, thanks! Don't forget Pinguicula filifolia though.

yes but it is not a mexican specie
P.filifolia is a cuban specie
some other are also close to filiform species -in caraibes P.lignicola ;P.casabitoana - in europe all the P. longifolia ,P. vallisneriifolia -in south america P.elongata
