I can't remember ever having a D. capensis inflorescence before that has forked twice. According to some SATAN has been busy with this one.

A group of these are trying to take over a D.x obovata pot. They seem to wander about the greenhouses in groups trying to 'cause bovver'

Very true - it's almost not worth keeping the original pot of D.capensis in your collection as it ends up appearing everywhere else anyway!
By the way, not seen your original post in this thread before.. for what it's worth, my regular D.capensis pretty much always produces a flower stalk that forks at least once.

Just to prove I don't just grow the white flowered form.

Just a little note. The above Lucilia sericata or Green Bottle Fly eventually escaped from the clutches of the D. capensis. I have witnessed this several times with different sundews and these flies are always too strong. I've never seen a dead one in a sundew unless I put it there as a corpse. Sarracenia of course are different

I was taking a photo of a Stylidium and this D. capensis photo-bombed. It was too good to ignore so here it is.

That first pic is very dewy-liscious!
Was expecting the green leaves to have a red tentacle tip showcawed in the globe of dew, but no, no red at all.
