I was a little surprised to see some goldfish spawning in the weeds of my pond this morning. Not for any other reason than it is later in the season than I am used to and the great flurry of activity for most of the fish had occurred last month in early June as the day light lengthened and the water temperature increased. If I can get to the eggs I will bring them into the shallower water and try to save them from the feeding frenzy that will ensue once they hatch.
Any other pond keepers having late activity?
Cheers Steve

You may need to get some plastic ducks and paint numbers on their undersides and a few hooky sticks. A few plastic bags to hang the little goldfish up and you're away.
Or
Do you prefer the throw the coins on the chess board game?

I have plenty of mixed parentage goldfish and koi carp from previous years orgies that I can normally find homes for in years 2 and 3, to other local pond owners, who seem to have more problems with herons than I do. I never thought of a game of skill and dexterity to demonstrate the prospective owners right of ownership.
I will go for the set of playing cards, mounted on a very hard back board, with three rather blunt darts (of differing weights) and wonky plastic flights. Roll up Roll up.....
