I just dug up this tub/raised bed to replant with some 2 year old A. speciosum and the A. galeatum and A. speciosum tubers were still there and intact. I've now replanted these into a large pot and hope the shoots, there are plenty white shoots, start up and do a late growth spurt. I can only guess that the plastic dome I had over this bed kept it too dry even though I'd cut the top out. * the plastic domes are to keep the beds a little drier in winter but mainly to keep the cat off
