The Coniogramme japonica flavo-maculata has recovered nicely and is not being attacked by snails in its new temporary location. The addition of a few slug pellets may have helped with that. Dryopteris affinis cristata 'The King' is beginning to show promise of the impressive large fronds it will have at full size. It still has a bit to go. For a completely different type of blade formation on a Dryopteris, Dryopteris sieboldi. These fronds are also getting some size to them

This Blechnum spicant is still in a pot waiting for me to decide where it's going to live. It's certainly a lot bigger this year. The photos show both types of fronds, the middle photo being the sterile type. ( I know corky likes this one) There are a couple of Cyrtomium fortunei in the fernery so there's a photo of the one in total and a close-up of a frond of the second. All in all the Ferns and Fernery are coming along quite well.
