They're looking a little different at the moment. Those buds should be out tomorrow if this weather holds. Meanwhile I think they look cute.

Cheers Fred, a real beaut and one I keep meaning to get, but every time I almost order one my conscience tells me to "behave, you already have too many plants". Took its time , but worth the wait

The flowers are starting to fade. In the greenhouse the colour hits you squarely in the eyeballs.

I discovered the colour problem was caused by apps in Chrome. The colour enhancer and contrast apps were bleaching out reds to make them pink. A quick delete and all is well

I acquired a couple of different clones of P. laueana this summer from Stephen. The plants are growing on well so I'm hoping that they will flower next season. They each have different shapes to the flowers.
