There are scores of frogs in the pond at the moment and have been for a few days now. Today however they are making a lot more noise and are extremely active with spawn appearing. Unfortunately the tadpoles won't stand a chance of survival with the fish I have, so I will move the spawn to a small wildlife pool, that until this year they have always used exclusively with no spawn at all in the fish pool. I suspect the Cabomba that hasn't died back at all this year and is all in one area of the pool, has led them to believe that it is safe. Picture of the pool, not great quality but you can make out a number of heads surveying the surroundings. I must weed out the watercress otherwise it will take over in a couple of weeks. Has anyone got a sure fire duck weed eradication method by the way?
