This is a little diorama I've been planning to do for a few years, Mountain Artillery transport. The piece here is a 4½" Howitzer.

Part 2 A Galloper gun. Light weight and easily pulled by a single horse or by the gun crew. These guns were very mobile on a battlefield but the downside was it took just as long for their ammunitions to catch up as a heavy piece. Good in awkward territory. Shot weight could be from 1lb to 6lb.

This looks like it took a while. I'd been wondering what you've been up to!

I started this while I was doing the first of the Saxons. Then when the Saxons were painted I continued with this and I started the Pavlov(ski) Grenadiers. It's all good fun. Now I'm wondering what to start while I finish off the Russians Plus there's still plenty more Saxons to do
