I hope this is the right place for these pictures of Iris in flower this morning, it's not strictly fishkeeping but is pond related. the Iris were looking nice this morning I prefer the lighter more delicate coloured inflorescence but like the variation of the leaves on the darker plant. Oh and if anyone knows a sure fire way to get rid of duckweed if they could arise from their sofa made of £50 notes and let me know I'd be obliged. cheers Steve

The variegated foliage is the more striking but it overshadows the flowers. It's a six of one against half a dozen of the other.

One of many hundred iris seeds that have floated round the pond all winter, settling in the margins, starting to germinate. I put it on the rock so I could picture it. cheers steve Attachments:
