Onoclea sensibilis - the Sensitive Fern, so called because of its sensitivity to frost. The first hard frost it retreats to the ground. I decided to treat myself to these three plug plants, they're nice little sporelings so we'll see how they go over time. I'm looking forward to the fertile fronds, they're a little different to other ferns and so give the plant it's alternative common name of Bead Fern. They've perked up well over the last couple of days from their postal experience.
