i recently liberated this tray and another from a skip, it’s dimensions are 30” x 24” x4”, in a flurry of activity this morning and in an attempt to manufacture space in that brief history of time, I rationalised a number of pots of plants into this one space. Not what I would have wished but necessary. The pictures show the empty tray, I then gathered some moss from the bogs to fill it and finally planted it up. I drilled a couple of holes in the left hand side and inserted wooden plugs so I can play with the water levels if I need, or if I get adventurous add a solar pump and reservoir for a steep system. The plants look a little disheveled as they have been outside all winter and whilst they looked fine up till a few weeks ago, when the beast from the East put paid to their good looks. They have also been frozen solid in their pots at the whim of the weather, as they haven’t been protected in any manner.
