The beast and the return of tha beast from the east has really upset the Dionaea. This Pink Venus has just broken through. While the plants from my own seed are romping away.

I have one in the greenhouse in a long tom, which whilst looking shabby didn’t die back to soil level in winter and is now picking up nicely, The barrel is an old home brew, pressure barrel, that I cut the top off. The plants are typicals and a couple of red ones, that I dug up out of the bogs, (left uncovered over winter) between the beast from the East 1 and 2, so they had been moved and subsequently frozen in thier new home. As you can see they are picking up in this sunny spell.

A sight many of our friends across the pond will not see.

I'll start with the excuse for the photos first. I bought a grip for the camera / scope/ cam and it needed trying out . Subject:- Dionaea flowers ( which, of course, all look exactly the same)
