The Wisteria are coming into bloom, the white blooms before the leaves are produced and are pungent in still Air. But the blue (ish) in the post below, produces foliage first and has a delcate almost undiscenable fragrance. Cheers Steve

This year the wisteria are now in full bloom and filling the air with a heady heavy scent, which I find agreeable. The pictures show the differing leaf/flowering strategies the white coming bloom before the leaf and the blue and white into leaf before it flowers. Cheers Steve

Rather unusually the blue and the white wisteria are both out together, with a very heady scent off both. Cheers Steve

Yes indeed, normally when the weather is OK there are literally several dozen honey bees drinking from the pond or bog media as seen in other posts on this forum, but when the wisteria flowers are out, there is a constant num in the air.
