Joachim-Napoléon Murat, King of Naples (1808-15);Prince Murat I Grand Duke of Berg (1806-08); Marshal of France; Admiral of France. (Brother-in-law to Napoleon) For some reason he had a reputation as a dandy A 25mm metal figure.

Was just gonna admire your work with this Joachim-Napoléon Murat character here, Fred, but then my curiosity got the better of me.
Love that the tiger skin covering is included in the model, but in the painting, said character is actually sitting atop another animal's pelt, with the tiger skin underneath.
Fred, did you ever read what that other animal pelt/ skin was and why it was chosen?
Looks like it has dark stripes and a long ringed tail...and possibly had origins in faraway exotic climes.
