Great to see this season's modelling installment Fred.
Quick question: why does the 7th Regiment von Kohler's blue-yellow uniform scheme differ so much in its colors from the 8th Regiment von Blucher's red and white uniforms?
Was it a different era and uniform colors had changed?
Because these models are based on historical records and references, it might be interesting if you could provide a short blurb on the historical significance of each of your displays.

Perhaps these will help Doug. The Hussars were the dandies of any army and the uniforms of the Prussians at this period were a little outdated being still based on the uniforms from the time of Frederick the Great, as was the Prussian cavalry's reputation.

Thanks Fred. Now just have to ask here, is your 8th Regiment charging through daffodils and red peonies? If so, well done sir. dvg
