That was no highwayman. He offered a plant and it was bid on without extortion or coercion. I believe it's called market forces. There's also a saying I can't fully recall about money and the people it's soon parted from.  |

The seed arrived last Friday and germinated on Monday. My excuse is I am hoping to get a straight L. optica in the bunch.  The patches of sand are covering roots. I learned last year not to play about with seedlings too much until they've reached several months. I bought 20 seeds so germination exceeds 100%  PS: I expected the seedlings to be darker too |

Fred, the rubra form is red, but what would the straight Lithops optica species look like and what is the appeal for you in obtaining the straight form?
