Cheiridopsis peculiaris, I've heard, can be a little difficult so i'ts like a red rag to a bull for me . I couldn't see any plants for sale so I've started with seed. These were sown 8 days ago and it's looking very promising. Now the challenge

The seedlings are growing quite nicely. All are now forming true leaves.

These little chaps are starting to look like adults although we know they're not. Growth is quite good (so far).

Seedlings of Cheiridopsis denticulata looking exactly like seedlings of Cheiridopsis peculiaris .

The C. peculiaris have been re-potted. I'm just waiting for them to show a bit of growth this season.

Apparently the above is Ihlenfeldtia excavata f. albirosea or Ihlenfeldtia excavata 'Albirosea'. I wish Louisa Bolus had made up her mind
