A new leaf rising up from the rhizomes, of this new arrival.  Couldn't resist spraying this leaf. With a stronger jet-spray, the water droplets won't accumulate. It took a fine mist to encourage the droplets to still stay on the leaf. Love the superhydrophobic leaves on these bladderworts.  dvg |

Started two pots of these reniformis divisions towards the end of September this year. A standard 4" pot filled with peat and sand, along with a 4" short filled with lfs and white pumice were employed to house the cuttings. They both grew side by side under a humidity dome, but the short pot was removed last week because its leaf stolons had grown up to touch the top of their domed enclosure.  The cloned division in the 4" standard pot with the peat/sand mix has found its way out of a drainage hole in less than three month's time.  Checked the 4" short's drainage holes for any signs of escape but haven't seen anything yet. dvg |

Both reniformis pots are now removed from their domed enclosures and the shorter pot is still making the taller leaf stolons.  And both pots have now had root stolons with bladder traps emerge from their pot's drainage holes. dvg |
