Some recent arrivals in this genera. These two arrived today. The photo was taken after a few hours after arrival and the flower was already trying to open after spending 5 days in the post ( First Class too ) These arrived previously.

The best photo I've managed to date of a small C. limpidum. I'm hoping to eventually get a decent enough amount of daylight to get the camera to focus on the plant instead of the medium.

A very new arrival. I must admit I didn't think the heads were going to be as large. (They are heads even if they look more like bottoms.)Conophytum truncatum.

This Conophytum uviforme has coloured up nicely. It'll not be long before these take their summer sleep. Edit: ID'd as C. uviforme

My other C. uviforme which so far hasn't turned red. It's looking like it would appreciate a little drink. The pubs are open if it sits outside too.

( Mitigation) This plant was up for sale as an unusual Lithops. It was so unusual I recognised it as a Conophytum. It's obviously a member of the Ophthalmophyllum group, which is difficult to separate and I've labelled it as - Conophytum friedrichiaeI'm happy with that ID. Incidentally my winning bid was £2 Edit:- Looking further It looks like this was once Ophthalmophyllum triebneri aka Ophthalmophyllum friedrichiae triebneri aka Conophytum friedrichiae triebneri just to make label printing easier. Some may prefer Ophthalmophyllum (Conophytum) friedrichiae trebneri

Conophytum pillansii is developing rosy cheeks. I seem to be a bit behind in recording my Conos.

The postman did knock and he left a couple of clumps of Conophytum. Conophytum friedrichiae :- Yes the same species as above but these ophthalmophyllum group members are variable. Conophytum sp. :- a nice clump of an unidentified member of the Ophthalmophyllum group.
