A few stills of Darlingtonia flowers this year. This is a first flowering on this clone. It has a warty reptilian look to the pitchers, all the 'windows' are domed. I've crossed this with the one below to see what appears. The elusive "Othello" flower. I'd given up on seeing this yet again this year. Then came the "WOOT!" moment. I've 'selfed' it and crossed with the above The flowers on my FG1983 clone . It's a real tough one. The bracts on this clone are a deeper pink than any other clone I've had in flower.

Excellent, I was interested in the "othello" selfed too, and wether you would expect mostly antho free seedlings or recessive genes to show up with coloured seedlings , or maybe have no idea:-)

With the "selfs" I'd wait until I knew what I'd got and say that was what I expected. At present they're not doing anything which is not what I'd expected.
