An open seedpod from T calcarea Bizarre. The contents I've sown these in their own little pot too.

Looking forward to seeing how these turn out for you Fred...the parent is such a remarkable specimen, hopefully the seed offspring will follow suit with the parent's lead.

Pot one did quite well with germination and then I discovered that the seedlings were regarded as a gastropod delicacy. the pot now looks like so. This really is enough Titanopsis calcarea to play with regardless of whether they're 'Bizarre' or not. However, the second pot had only a handfull of seeds germinating so I stuck it in a half tray propagator ( on it's own) and the remaining seeds appear to have approved so that pot now looks like this. Which is slightly more than you can shake a stick at. Gastropod prevention measures are in force. It's been relocated to the kitchen windowsill

It has really germinated well for you Fred, and won't be slug bait now, inside, beside the kitchen's window.
Be fun to see how they turn out for you.

T. hugo-schlecteri has coloured up nicely. Meanwhile the first lot of T. Bizarre seedlings ( or should that be seedlings from T. Bizarre) are starting to show their true leaves.

The ex-Bizarre seed in pot one is showing a secondary germination. Although I'm not really short of seedlings. Pot 2 is starting to show true leaves.

I thought it was time to prick a few out so I went for it, then gave up after 50.

The tray of seedlings are coming on nicely. A couple have decided they don't want to be here but that still leaves plenty to play with. There's some spares in a few pots too.

Very nice Fred.
Those seedlings blend in very well with the grit.
